Mental Health Staff Nurse (Maternity Cover) – Heatherwood Court

Are you a compassionate and motivated Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse looking to make a real difference? We are seeking dedicated and professional Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team and help deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a specialist mental health service.

About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with individual support plans and service models of care
• Promote therapeutic relationships and reduce restrictive interventions
• Administer and manage medication safely in line with NMC guidelines and organisational policies
• Maintain accurate, factual, and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in multidisciplinary assessments, care planning, and reviews
• Support patients following incidents and contribute to staff debriefs
• Ensure patients are actively involved in their care and behavioural support planning

Leadership & Team Support

• Act as a positive role model for the wider staff team
• Support and mentor new, junior, and agency staff
• Contribute to a positive and professional working environment
• Participate in supervision, appraisals, and staff development processes
  
  As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for individuals within our service. You will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to provide safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused support while promoting dignity, independence, and positive outcomes for patients.
