We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Engineer to join our team, ensuring all fire doors across our facilities meet industry standards and regulations.
About the Role:
The Multi Skilled Fabric Engineer will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, compliance inspections, and minor works across IRIS Care Group facilities, with responsibility for fire door compliance and building fabric maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fire door inspections, maintenance, installation and repairs.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• General building fabric maintenance including carpentry, decorating, flooring, ceilings and doors.
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Contractor management and supervision.
• Compliance documentation and CAFM updates.
• Customer service and stakeholder communication.
• Health, safety and quality compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- • Proven experience in a Multi Skilled Maintenance or Fabric Engineer role.
- • Experience carrying out fire door inspections and repairs.
- • Strong building fabric maintenance knowledge.
- • Good IT and CAFM system skills.
- • Full UK Driving Licence.
