Iris Care Group is a leading provider of specialist health and social care services. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Purchase & Insurance Manager to take ownership of a broad and high-impact portfolio covering insurance, claims, risk and procurement across the Group.
About the Role:
This role offers significant breadth and autonomy, with responsibility for:
- Owning procurement governance, supplier performance and commercial terms
- Owning and managing the procurement and purchase ledger team (x3), invoice processing and analysis of group spending
- Supporting business growth, acquisitions and ongoing operational performance
- Managing the Group’s full insurance portfolio and driving best value and coverage
- Acting as a key interface between operational teams, legal advisors and insurers
You will play a critical role in protecting EBITDA, reducing risk exposure and strengthening supplier value across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Lead all insurance activity, including renewals, broker relationships and claims management
- Oversee procurement strategy and supplier governance, ensuring value for money and service quality
- Negotiate and review supplier contracts, ensuring terms are commercially appropriate and operationally deliverable
- Manage key supplier relationships and intervene where performance falls short
- Maintain and manage the approved supplier list of the group and ensure its accuracy in the group financial and procurement systems
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, statutory and reporting requirements
- Line manage and develop the Purchasing Assistant, and x2 Purchase ledger clerks
