About your role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our residential care team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in enabling individuals to live safe, meaningful and fulfilling lives in a homely, person-centred environment.

You will support individuals to develop independence, maintain wellbeing and achieve their personal goals, while promoting dignity, choice and respect at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, preferences and care plans
  • Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care and emotional wellbeing
  • Support people to access community activities, education and social opportunities
  • Promote positive behaviour support and follow agreed risk assessments and support plans
  • Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and health professionals
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety policies are followed at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, patient and empathetic approach
  • Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential – full training is provided
  • An understanding of (or willingness to learn about) learning disabilities, autism and mental health
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins (where applicable)
  • A commitment to promoting independence, inclusion and quality of life
