In 2023, following feedback from colleagues across the organisation, we launched our first employee networks – creating safe, supportive communities where people can connect, share experiences and help shape positive change across Iris Care Group.
Our Networks play an important role in influencing our policies, practices and culture, ensuring that lived experience helps inform decision-making at every level of the organisation.
Each Network is sponsored by a member of our Executive Team, giving colleagues a direct voice into senior leadership and ensuring ideas lead to meaningful action. We also actively encourage allyship- because building an inclusive workplace is everyone’s responsibility. Whether or not you identify with a particular community, standing alongside colleagues, listening, learning and advocating for others helps create a culture where everyone belongs.
Pride Network
Our Pride Network champions an inclusive workplace where LGBTQIA+ colleagues feel safe, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.
The Network provides peer support, raises awareness, influences organisational policies and promotes education across the business to help create a culture where everyone feels accepted, valued and able to thrive.
Through awareness campaigns, events and continuous learning, the Network helps ensure Iris Care Group remains a welcoming and inclusive place for all.
Accessibility & Disability Network
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Our Accessibility & Disability Network supports colleagues with disabilities, long-term health conditions and neurodivergent traits by providing a safe space to share experiences, identify barriers and influence positive change.
The Network works closely with the organisation to improve accessibility, strengthen our recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensure colleagues receive the support they need throughout their career with us.
Multicultural Network
Our people come from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, ethnicities and faiths – and we’re incredibly proud of the diversity they bring to Iris Care Group.
Our Multicultural Network celebrates these differences while helping to build greater cultural understanding, awareness and inclusion across the organisation.
